We are delighted to publish some new family photos supplied to us by Don McClure. Don is the son of Dulcie McClure who is a daughter of Helena Hardy. Dulcie is now 100 years old and lives in Canada. Dulcie and her late sister Dorothy married McClure brothers from Canada.

The family portrait provides us with a complete record of Charles and Alice and their adult children. As George is in the photo it probably dates prior to 1907 at which time George was living in Australia. A possibility is that this photo was taken at George's wedding to Catherine Gash which was held in Cambridge in December 1903. As Florence was in the United States from around 1903 to 1906 her presence in the photo suggests that it needs to date from before her departure. We do not have an exact date for that.

In this photo we currently believe we have Alice seated on the left of her father Charles and Ada on the right of her mother Alice. Standing from left to right are Florence and then Frederick. The next person could be either George or Charles Lingham, we are not sure on this. Then we have Helena and next to her either George or Charles.

The next photo is of the three Hardy girls from left to right Alice, Ada and Helena. We are advised that Helena was age 16 when this photo was taken. Helena was born in in 1882 which dates the photo as 1898. At that time Alice will have been 20 and Ada 18.
