The Hardy Family Tree

To help those who do not have access to the Family Tree via ancestry.com, I am publishing below photographs of the trees hand drawn a few years ago by David Hardy. I must apologise that the copies I have are a bit wrinkled with age like me. I should have taken greater care with their filing.

There are two photos that when studied will give you a view of the tree going back through the Hardy and Thomas families. The two charts overlap, with the first giving a clear view of the Hardy family at the top of the chart and the second a clearer view of the Thomas family which is from the bottom of the chart. You will see the overlap if you look for Alice Francis Thomas at the bottom of the first chart and again in the middle of the second view.

Look for the names that keep repeating amongst the families.

I am sure David spent many hours pulling this information together and then setting out the charts. This is not a simple task.

I do hope you enjoy studying these charts. Personally I love the hand drawn approach.

I am the great x2 grandson of Charles and Alice Hardy. This blog is being developed for members of the Hardy family and others interested in the family's history.

I am grateful for the work of family members Dulcie McClure, Jennifer Spencer, David Hardy, Jill and Jon Hardy and Peter Hardy which has provided rich resources for the production of this blog.
